DIAPH3-AS1 Gene

Name DIAPH3 antisense RNA 1
Summary
{"type": "root", "children": [{"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "\n DIAPH3‐AS1 is a long non‐coding RNA that, by its inclusion among a group of lncRNAs expressed in both gametogenic and cancer tissues, is proposed to play a regulatory role in key cellular processes. These processes include the maintenance of telomere biology, organization of chromatin, and modulation of gene expression, all of which are critical in both reproductive programs and tumorigenic transformation. Although the abstract does not describe DIAPH3‐AS1 by name, its categorization alongside other testis‐specific or “cancer‐testis” lncRNAs suggests that DIAPH3‐AS1 may influence signaling networks such as the Wnt/β‐catenin and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways, which are known to mediate cellular survival, proliferation, and migration. As such, DIAPH3‐AS1 might be further investigated as a potential biomarker for early detection, prognostic assessment, and therapeutic response evaluation in cancers."}, {"type": "fg", "children": [{"type": "fg_f", "ref": "1"}]}, {"type": "t", "text": "\n "}]}, {"type": "rg", "children": [{"type": "r", "ref": 1, "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "Ali Dianatpour, Soudeh Ghafouri-Fard "}, {"type": "b", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "Long Non Coding RNA Expression Intersecting Cancer and Spermatogenesis: A Systematic Review"}]}, {"type": "t", "text": " "}, {"type": "i", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "Asian Pac J Cancer Prev (2017)"}]}, {"type": "t", "text": " DOI: "}, {"type": "a", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "10.22034/APJCP.2017.18.10.2601"}], "href": "https://doi.org/10.22034/APJCP.2017.18.10.2601"}, {"type": "t", "text": " PMID: "}, {"type": "a", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "29072050"}], "href": "https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29072050"}]}]}]}
