Summary
{"type": "root", "children": [{"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "\n Long noncoding RNA ERICD has been identified as a key molecular player in osteosarcoma cell behavior. In U‐2OS osteosarcoma cells, ERICD is closely linked to the transcription factor ARID3A through an indirect interaction mediated by E2F1. Functional studies using siRNA‐mediated knockdown of ERICD demonstrated that reduced ERICD expression leads to significant inhibition of cell migration, colony formation, and proliferation. In contrast, overexpression of ARID3A produces the opposite effect, suppressing these tumorigenic properties, which indicates that ERICD exerts an oncogenic role in this context. Collectively, these findings suggest that ERICD contributes to osteosarcoma progression by counterbalancing the tumor-suppressive functions of ARID3A, with E2F1 participating in the regulation of this interaction. This intricate interplay between a long noncoding RNA and key transcription factors underscores the potential of ERICD as both a biomarker and a therapeutic target in osteosarcoma management."}, {"type": "fg", "children": [{"type": "fg_f", "ref": "1"}]}, {"type": "t", "text": "\n "}]}, {"type": "rg", "children": [{"type": "r", "ref": 1, "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "Kaifee Arman, Khandakar A S M Saadat, Yusuf Z Igci, et al.
