In one report (1), LINC00408 was investigated for its influence on key cellular processes – including proliferation, apoptosis, and invasion – that are critical for tumor progression. The findings from this study suggest that LINC00408 may act in a context‐dependent manner, modulating signaling networks that govern cell growth and survival. In a broader study of lncRNA expression across different breast cancer subtypes (2), although LINC00408 was not among the lncRNAs explicitly highlighted within the subtype‐specific modules, the work reinforces the concept that dysregulated lncRNAs are integral to the molecular landscape of cancer and hold promise as biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic stratification.
