{"type": "root", "children": [{"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "\n In a retrospective feasibility study exploring urinary extracellular vesicle (EV) mRNA profiles as potential non‐invasive biomarkers for urological cancers, LINC00967 was identified as one of three mRNAs whose expression was significantly elevated in patients with bladder cancer (1). Using RNA‐sequencing analysis followed by RT–qPCR validation in an expanded patient cohort—including individuals with non–muscle invasive bladder cancer, advanced urothelial cancers, and appropriate control groups—the study observed that increased levels of LINC00967 in urinary EVs correlated with the presence of bladder cancer.
