In a study screening both expression and methylation profiles from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), LINC01269—along with AC025016.1, LINC01164, and LINC01183—was selected using univariate and multivariate survival analyses to construct a risk scoring model. This model notably outperforms traditional staging methods in predicting overall survival and was further utilized to classify hepatoma cell lines from the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia (CCLE) to assess differential drug sensitivity.
