LINC01449 Gene

Name long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1449
Summary
{"type": "root", "children": [{"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "\n In a study examining hepatitis B virus (HBV) integration in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC), LINC01449 was identified as one of several recurrent integration sites targeted by HBV-DNA (1). Although the precise biological function of LINC01449 remains to be fully elucidated, its recurrent disruption in ICC tissues suggests that alterations in this long non‐coding RNA may contribute to tumorigenesis. HBV integration into LINC01449, along with other genes such as TERT, SPATA18, TRERF1, ZNF23, CEACAM20, and LINC00486, underscores the potential role of these genomic alterations in the development of HBV-related ICC. These findings indicate that HBV-mediated modification of LINC01449 could impact gene regulation or other molecular pathways involved in oncogenic transformation, meriting further investigation into its functional role in liver cancer (1)."}]}, {"type": "t", "text": "\n "}, {"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "fg", "children": [{"type": "fg_f", "ref": "1"}]}, {"type": "t", "text": ""}]}, {"type": "rg", "children": [{"type": "r", "ref": 1, "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "Mengge Li, Min Du, Hui Cong, et al.
