LINC01484 Gene

Name long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1484
Summary
{"type": "root", "children": [{"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "\n Long noncoding RNA LINC01484 has emerged as a potential regulatory molecule in kidney dysfunction and malignancy. In a study profiling circulating and exosomal ncRNAs in hypertensive patients, LINC01484 was identified as a key component of a 24‐ncRNA signature associated with early renal damage and albuminuria. Data from this research indicate that LINC01484, together with other lncRNAs and miR-301a-3p, may modulate transcriptional networks that regulate filtration barrier integrity and tubule reabsorption (2).\n\n In addition, LINC01484 has been incorporated into a prognostic six-lncRNA signature in bladder urothelial carcinoma, where its dysregulated expression correlates with tumor progression and metastasis. This suggests that LINC01484 may contribute to the molecular mechanisms underlying tumor development and serve as an independent prognostic marker (3).\n\n Although a genome-wide analysis of lncRNA expression in renal cell carcinoma has outlined the landscape of dysregulated noncoding RNAs in kidney cancer (1), the specific functions attributed to LINC01484 in renal and bladder pathologies highlight its potential involvement in both early renal injury processes and cancer progression."}]}, {"type": "t", "text": "\n "}, {"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "fg", "children": [{"type": "fg_fs", "start_ref": "1", "end_ref": "3"}]}, {"type": "t", "text": ""}]}, {"type": "rg", "children": [{"type": "r", "ref": 1, "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "Xue Xu, Yongcan Xu, Chuanqin Shi, et al.
