Functional studies in PTC cell lines, including BCPAP and TPC, reveal that silencing LRRC52-AS1 markedly reduces cellular migration and invasion, suggesting its integral role in facilitating cancer cell dissemination. Mechanistically, LRRC52-AS1 appears to modulate epithelial-mesenchymal transition by influencing key mesenchymal markers such as N-cadherin, vimentin, and TAZ, thereby promoting tumor progression.
