{"type": "root", "children": [{"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "\n LURAP1L‐AS1 plays a critical regulatory role in the PDGF‐BB–induced transformation of fibroblasts into cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) within the oral squamous cell carcinoma tumor microenvironment. Upon stimulation by PDGF‐BB, LURAP1L‐AS1 is upregulated along with its target protein LURAP1L, which in turn enhances the activation of the IKK/IĸB/NF-κB signaling pathway. This activation leads to increased expression of fibroblast activation markers—including α-smooth muscle actin, fibroblast activation protein-α, PDGFR-β, and phosphorylated PDGFR-β—as well as elevated levels of IKKα, p-IĸB, and p-NF-κB. Conversely, silencing of LURAP1L‐AS1 diminishes these signaling events and marker expressions, thereby inhibiting the PDGF‐BB-induced conversion of normal fibroblasts to CAFs.
