{"type": "root", "children": [{"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "\n Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is a leading cause of end‐stage renal disease, and recent transcriptomic analyses have begun to elucidate the complex regulatory networks underlying its pathogenesis. In a study integrating whole transcriptome data from human glomerular and tubular tissues, several key differentially expressed genes, microRNAs, and long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) were identified in association with DKD (1). Among these, MAGI2-AS1 emerged as one of the three pivotal lncRNAs within the competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network. This network, which also included lnc-HIST2H2AA4-1 and VCAN-AS1, was constructed to reveal regulatory mechanisms that converge on immune and inflammation-related signaling pathways. The identification of MAGI2-AS1 as a central component suggests that it may play a critical role in modulating downstream gene expression, thereby influencing the inflammatory milieu characteristic of DKD.
