| Name | microRNA 1910 |
| Description | microRNAs (miRNAs) are short (20-24 nt) non-coding RNAs that are involved in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression in multicellular organisms by affecting both the stability and translation of mRNAs. miRNAs are transcribed by RNA polymerase II as part of capped and polyadenylated primary transcripts (pri-miRNAs) that can be either protein-coding or non-coding. The primary transcript is cleaved by the Drosha ribonuclease III enzyme to produce an approximately 70-nt stem-loop precursor miRNA (pre-miRNA), which is further cleaved by the cytoplasmic Dicer ribonuclease to generate the mature miRNA and antisense miRNA star (miRNA*) products. The mature miRNA is incorporated into a RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC), which recognizes target mRNAs through imperfect base pairing with the miRNA and most commonly results in translational inhibition or destabilization of the target mRNA. The RefSeq represents the predicted microRNA stem-loop. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009] |

In breast cancer, exosomes carrying miR‑1910‑3p are secreted by tumor cells and subsequently transferred to both transformed and non‑transformed mammary epithelial cells. This miR promotes cellular proliferation and migration, suppresses apoptosis, and induces autophagy. Mechanistically, miR‑1910‑3p downregulates myotubularin‑related protein 3, thereby activating the NF‑κB and Wnt/β‑catenin signaling pathways, which facilitate tumor growth and metastasis. Furthermore, serum exosomal miR‑1910‑3p has shown promise as an effective diagnostic marker, especially when used in conjunction with the traditional tumor marker CA153."}, {"type": "fg", "children": [{"type": "fg_f", "ref": "1"}]}, {"type": "t", "text": "\n\nDis primis, in the context of colorectal carcinoma (CRC), deregulation of miR‑1910‑3p is implicated in a novel regulatory axis involving the long noncoding RNA LINC00174 and the transcriptional coactivator TAZ.
