In response to low oxygen conditions, its expression is specifically triggered by hypoxia‐inducible factor 2 (HIF2) rather than HIF1. Once induced, RAB11B‐AS1 facilitates the transcription of key angiogenic factors, such as VEGFA and ANGPTL4, by enhancing the recruitment of RNA polymerase II.
