{"type": "root", "children": [{"type": "p", "children": [{"type": "t", "text": "\nIn Alzheimer’s disease cellular models, the long noncoding RNA ZBTB20‐AS1 is significantly upregulated and functions by downregulating its target gene, ZBTB20, which in turn favors the activation of the GSK‑3β/Tau signaling pathway. This upregulation results in enhanced GSK‑3β expression and increased Tau phosphorylation, ultimately promoting cell apoptosis and reducing viability. Conversely, silencing ZBTB20‑AS1 or overexpressing ZBTB20 effectively counteracts these detrimental effects by inhibiting pathway activation, reducing apoptosis, and improving cell survival.
