Description Adenylosuccinate lyase deficiency, also called adenylosuccinase deficiency, is an autosomal recessive inherited disorder of purine metabolism. Clinical signs are non-specific and include psychomotor retardation, epileptic seizures, and behavioral disorders similar to autism.
