In the context of infective endocarditis, increased ARHGEF38 expression in human endothelial cells was associated with enhanced invasion by collagen‐binding Streptococcus mutans, and knockdown of ARHGEF38 substantially reduced bacterial invasion (1). In prostate cancer, ARHGEF38 is frequently upregulated; its enhanced expression promotes tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasiveness, suggesting an oncogenic role that may contribute to tumor cell polarization and metastasis (2,4).
