TitleDiabetic retina
DescriptionAnalysis of retina from adult CD-1 animals injected with streptozotocin on three successive days. This drug selectively destroys the beta-islet cells of the pancreas thereby inducing diabetes. Results provide insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying neural degeneration of the retina.
