TitleEstradiol effect on the ischemic brain
DescriptionAnalysis of ischemic cerebral cortices of ovariectomized animals on a regimen of 1 subcutaneous 17beta-estradiol pellet for 1 week. Ischemia was induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion. Results provide insight into the basis of estrogen's protective effect in experimental cerebral ischemia.
