DescriptionAnalysis of hearts from fetuses lacking ERRgamma, a gene expressed at high levels in fetal and postnatal heart. Results provide insight into the role of ERRgamma in the hearts metabolic switch from a dependence on carbohydrates during fetal life to a dependence on postnatal oxidative metabolism.
