DescriptionAnalysis of aorta from hypercholesterolemic, apolipoprotein E (APOE)-null animals treated with captopril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Captopril attenuates atherosclerosis. Results provide insight into the molecular basis of the antiatherosclerotic effect of captopril.
