DescriptionAnalysis of heart from CVB3-infected males during chronic myocarditis/dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) (day 90 postinfection). Myocarditis and DCM, often caused by viral infections, occur more frequently in men than in women. Results provided insight into molecular basis of DCM progression in males.
