MIF-AS1 Gene

MIF antisense RNA 1

MIF Gene

macrophage migration inhibitory factor (glycosylation-inhibiting factor)

This gene encodes a lymphokine involved in cell-mediated immunity, immunoregulation, and inflammation. It plays a role in the regulation of macrophage function in host defense through the suppression of anti-inflammatory effects of glucocorticoids. This lymphokine and the JAB1 protein form a complex in the cytosol near the peripheral plasma membrane, which may indicate an additional role in integrin signaling pathways. DCT Gene

dopachrome tautomerase

Predicted to enable dopachrome isomerase activity. Involved in response to blue light. Located in intracellular membrane-bounded organelle and plasma membrane. Implicated in oculocutaneous albinism. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Mar 2025]

LOC391322 Gene

D-dopachrome tautomerase-like

DDTP1 Gene

D-dopachrome tautomerase pseudogene 1

DDT Gene

D-dopachrome tautomerase

D-dopachrome tautomerase converts D-dopachrome into 5,6-dihydroxyindole. The DDT gene is related to the migration inhibitory factor (MIF) in terms of sequence, enzyme activity, and gene structure. DDT and MIF are closely linked on chromosome 22. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

DDTL Gene

D-dopachrome tautomerase-like

Predicted to enable phenylpyruvate tautomerase activity. Predicted to be involved in melanin biosynthetic process. Located in extracellular exosome. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Mar 2025]
