DCLRE1CP1 Gene

DNA cross-link repair 1C pseudogene 1

DCLRE1B Gene

DNA cross-link repair 1B

DNA interstrand cross-links prevent strand separation, thereby physically blocking transcription, replication, and segregation of DNA. DCLRE1B is one of several evolutionarily conserved genes involved in repair of interstrand cross-links (Dronkert et al., 2000 [PubMed 10848582]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]

DCLRE1C Gene

DNA cross-link repair 1C

This gene encodes a nuclear protein that is involved in V(D)J recombination and DNA repair. The encoded protein has single-strand-specific 5'-3' exonuclease activity; it also exhibits endonuclease activity on 5' and 3' overhangs and hairpins. The protein also functions in the regulation of the cell cycle in response to DNA damage. Mutations in this gene can cause Athabascan-type severe combined immunodeficiency (SCIDA) and Omenn syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2014]

DCLRE1A Gene

DNA cross-link repair 1A

This gene encodes a conserved protein that is involved in the repair of DNA interstrand cross-links. DNA cross-links suppress transcription, replication, and DNA segregation. The encoded protein is a regulator of the mitotic cell cycle checkpoint. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2012]

HAPLN4 Gene

hyaluronan and proteoglycan link protein 4

Predicted to be a structural constituent of synapse-associated extracellular matrix. Predicted to be involved in several processes, including GABAergic synaptic transmission; nervous system development; and positive regulation of neuroblast proliferation. Predicted to be located in extracellular region. Predicted to be active in extracellular space; perineuronal net; and synapse. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Mar 2025]

HAPLN1 Gene

hyaluronan and proteoglycan link protein 1

Predicted to enable hyaluronic acid binding activity. Predicted to be an extracellular matrix structural constituent conferring compression resistance. Predicted to be involved in nervous system development; positive regulation of neuroblast proliferation; and skeletal system development. Located in collagen-containing extracellular matrix. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Mar 2025]

HAPLN3 Gene

hyaluronan and proteoglycan link protein 3

This gene belongs to the hyaluronan and proteoglycan binding link protein gene family. The protein encoded by this gene may function in hyaluronic acid binding and cell adhesion. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

HAPLN2 Gene

hyaluronan and proteoglycan link protein 2

Predicted to enable hyaluronic acid binding activity. Predicted to be involved in nervous system development; positive regulation of neuroblast proliferation; and skeletal system development. Predicted to act upstream of or within establishment of blood-nerve barrier and extracellular matrix assembly. Predicted to be located in extracellular matrix. Predicted to be active in extracellular space; perineuronal net; and synapse. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Mar 2025]
